According to Mahama Suriya Wohbah, the brother of Mayeng, Mayeng worked as a security guard at Channel 3 TV in Bangkok for four years before quitting his job last year. The security guard, who did not give his name, said Mayeng was a nice and hard-working man who was ready to help people. Mayeng once joined Channel 3's flood relief efforts to help victims during the devastating floods that hit the country in 2011, the security guard said.
